There is also a Women’s Club offering social opportunities and community events.

Residents of Memorial Plaza have easy access to the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. The sanctuary is a 17.5 acre forest preserve, located just south of Memorial Plaza, across Memorial Drive. The sanctuary is open to the public 365 days a year. It is home to a variety of wildlife that will delight bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. Educational programs are offered in a restored log cabin.
