Green Trails is an established community of fine homes located in southeast Katy, close to the Houston Energy Corridor. There are several casual restaurants in the immediate area, with the nearest Starbucks to the west at the intersection of South Greenhouse Road and Katy Freeway Frontage. Go a bit further to the west, and you’ll find The Crossing at Fry Road, a major retail plaza with a variety of national chains. Medical services are also nearby, with Texas Children’s Hospital West and Houston Methodist West Hospital located on the other side of I-1o.
Public education for Green Trails students is provided by the acclaimed Katy Independent School District. Students may attend Nottingham Elementary, or Pattison Elementary, Memorial Parkway Junior High, or McMeans Junior High. High School students attend Taylor High, which received a Silver ranking by U.S. News & World Report for academic excellence.
