Rustling Oaks is an established neighborhood of attractive homes, located just minutes from the Houston Energy Corridor. Rustling Oaks is located south of the Katy Freeway and immediately west of the Sam Houston Tollway. The neighborhood is roughly bordered by Queensbury Lane to the north, Rummel Creek to the west, the Sam Houston Tollway to the east, and just short of Kimberly Lane to the south.
Rustling Oaks is a deed-restricted community, and is patrolled by a constable from Harris County Precinct 5. Residents are eligible to join the Plaza Oaks Club, a private neighborhood club featuring recreational pools, tennis courts, playground, snack bar, basketball court, volleyball court, pavilion, and an outdoor kitchen with grills. There is also a Women’s Club offering social opportunities and community events.
Rustling Oaks residents have easy access to the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary, located less than a mile away. Terry Hershey Park and the Buffalo Bayou Trail are only minutes away.

Public education for Rustling Oaks is provided by the Spring Branch Independent School District, recognized for excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Elementary age children attend Rummel Creek Elementary School. Students move on to attend Memorial Middle School. High school students attend Stratford High School, which received a Silver ranking by U.S. News & World Report for academic excellence.
