The residential communities of Nottingham include four neighborhoods in the Houston Energy Corridor. They are bordered by Katy Freeway to the north, Eldridge Parkway to the west, Terry Hershey Park to the south, and Kirkwood Road to the east. These well-established neighborhoods feature an abundance of trees, beautiful parks, and convenient access to recreation, shopping, dining and professional services.

Nottingham West is a deed-restricted community, situated west of Kirkwood and north of Memorial Drive. The Nottingham West Civic Club maintains a private outdoor pool and playground for residents. They also have a regular security patrol and “Yard of the Month” award. Nottingham West is close to Nottingham Park, a 22-acre recreational area with a splash park, playground, 12-hole disc golf course and 2 tennis courts. Access to Katy Freeway and the nearest Starbuck’s is right down Kirkwood Road.

Nottingham Forest and Nottingham Forest VIII are both bordered by Memorial Drive to the north, Buffalo Bayou trail to the south, Kirwood to the east and Dairy Ashford to the west. While each neighborhood has its own HOA, residents of both neighborhoods can enjoy the Nottingham Forest Club. Amenities include 5 lighted tennis courts and a basketball court, plus a large outdoor pool area with 4 connected pools and a water slide. The Sharks competitive swim team is open to ages 4 through 18.

Nottingham is south of Katy Freeway, north of Memorial Drive, and situated between Kirkwood Road and  West Forest. The Nottingham Civic Association is the HOA, and each homeowner has membership in the Memorial West Community Club. Located at the northeast corner of Memorial and Kirkwood, the club features an outdoor pool with diving boards, plus a lap pool and a baby pool. There is also a playground, 3 tennis courts, a volleyball court and a large clubhouse.

All the Nottingham neighborhoods enjoy access to 26,000 acres of recreational parks and green space, and 50 miles of trails. Terry Hershey Park and the Buffalo Bayou trail connects area neighborhoods and businesses. There are a variety of restaurants and retailers within easy reach!

The Nottingham communities are served by the well-regarded Spring Branch Independent School District. Elementary schools include Meadow Wood, Nottingham and Wilchester. Middle schools include Spring Forest and Memorial.

Public high schools include Stratford High School, which received a Silver ranking by U.S. News & World Report for academic excellence. The Westchester Academy for International Studies offers International Baccalaureate Diplomas, achieved through advanced coursework with a focus on college readiness.

Homes in the Nottingham communities vary widely in design, age of construction, and price, but all share the distinction of being well-built and well-kept. Home prices currently range from the $300’s to over $1 million.
