Houston Dragon Boat Festival – Tony Marron Park. May 7-8, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. See colorful dragon boats compete in exciting races throughout the day. Live music, food and drinks. Free admission!
Mother’s Day Breakfast – Hermann Park. May 8. Advance tickets required, available online. Treat mom to a delicious breakfast while enjoying the scenery of Hermann Park. After breakfast, enjoy a train ride through the park, and relax with art and craft activities.
Houston Energy Corridor Bike to Work Day. May 19, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Bicycle along popular routes to the celebration at Terry Hershey Park. Participants enjoy a complimentary breakfast, music, giveaways, and raffle prizes. The event is free, but please register in advance.
Houston BBQ Festival – NRG Park. May 22. Sample the wares of Houston’s best BBQ restaurants all in one place, all for one price! Great food, beverages and live music. This event sells out every year, get your tickets online today.
